Multiple file selection…

 

The method generally used for multiple selection is holding the CTRL key and then clicking on the icons to be selected, which involves loss of selection when control key is left by mistake.

In Windows 7, the CHECK BOXES can be used while selection. This feature can be activated as:

My Computer> Organize> Folder and Search options> View> Use check boxes to select files
